We started AlphaSights in 2008 with no clients, no network, and one conviction: the right human insight, at the right moment, changes the decision. A few beliefs have guided us ever since, shaping how we built the company and, we think, how anyone builds a career worth having.
01Obsess over others’ success.
We only win when our clients do. Far from a value on a wall, it is our entire growth strategy, and always has been.
02Hire people who raise the bar.
We can do far more together than alone, so we hire for judgment and character, back people early and get out of their way.
03Keep learning, or start slipping.
Mistakes we can live with; not learning from them we cannot. The people who keep learning are the ones who keep rising.
04Think in decades.
We back compounding over quarters, in our clients, our people and our standards. The long game is the only game we play.
05Do it well, and enjoy it.
If something is worth doing, it is worth doing properly, and worth enjoying while you do. Success is as much the journey as the destination.
